How it works

How the Vybe Score and live heat are set

The Vybe Score — earned from real guests

  • Every venue starts at 4.0 and climbs (4.5, 4.6…) through genuine guest activity — never above 4.9.
  • Activity counts when guests tap "Heading there" or "I'm here now", message the venue on WhatsApp, or leave a review.
  • One review per venue every 24 hours, per device.
  • One vote per hour in total, so guests can rate other venues as they move through the night — but can't flood one.
  • Scores refresh each week, so they reflect how a venue is doing now.

The live heat map — updated as it happens

  • Venues set their own level — chilled, warming up, busy or packed — from their partner dashboard in seconds.
  • Guest check-ins ("I'm here now") back that up: several in the last hour can lift the heat a step.
  • "Packed" is only ever shown when the venue confirms it, and a recent venue update always comes first.
  • Venues can buy visibility on VybeRightNow — never a rating or a heat level.
